What this service does

Vouch helps people exchange TOTP codes to verify each other's identity. It is a tool, not a guarantee. A matching code means the other person has access to the shared secret. It does not constitute proof of identity in any legal, contractual, or absolute sense.

No guarantees

• We don't guarantee the service will be available when you need it
• We don't guarantee the service will be free of bugs or errors
• We don't guarantee that TOTP verification will detect all forms of impersonation
• We don't guarantee your data won't be lost

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages from identity fraud, deepfakes, impersonation, service outages, data loss, or any other cause whatsoever.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account and shared secrets secure. Don't share invite links on public channels. Don't rely on this service as your only method of identity verification for high-stakes situations.

We can change things

We may modify or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service means you accept the current terms.

Account termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts for any reason. You can delete your pairings and stop using the service at any time.
